The Vietnam War was the longest war in America. This war was faught on 127,000 square miles of land. When this war was fought, it was fought in tropical weather. There were the November-April monsoons, which is rain similar to Florida and then there was the May-October Monsoons, which are heavy winds, rain, extreme heat.

The Vietnam War was the prolonged struggle between nationalist forces attempting to unify the country of Vietnam under a communist government and the United States (with the aid of the South Vietnamese) attempting to prevent the spread of communism. More than 3 million Americans served in Vietnam War, and nearly 58,000 lost their lives there.
The American's involvement in the Vietnam War ended in 1973 and two years later south vietnam surrendered to it's northern forces.

The Vietnam War finally ended in 1975 after 30 years of on going war. After the American soldiers pulled out of the war the Southern and Northern parts of Vietnam were not as strong or as forceful andymore which pretty much put the war to its end.
